Bolted boots are a continuation of the style i developed with the wrapped boots. Big n stompy with a little bit more of a grunged feel this time. Incorporating more sculpted elements than previous work but maintaining the overall aesthetics of AVZ.

I can hardly believe it has been nearly 10 months since my last release! I have been in Thailand for the last 6mths and RL took over briefly but im back in SL so expect to see more new releases soon.

Technological mowhakery! The Tekhawk is a nice cyber style double mowhawk built from bolted tek panels with hair spikes attatched and some glowy FX too. Its split down the middle and will look kick ass on any guy or girl cyberpunk :)

Hello well finally something new for my store right? I was so busy with Poetik SIM and then after that i was building out a nightclub which will be called Intoxia more about that soon. I have completed all that so now finally i have some time to focus on AVZ again and getting some new nice things made for you guys!

The Baqpaq itself is my imagining of a sort of Anime style Laptop PC / backpack with wings ;) It does have a gentle flight assist so you can fly with it although its nothing like as powerfull as my jetpacks but it does have wings after all so it seemed appropriate. Other than that well its AVZ style aint it so enjoy :)

ps. it has a little anime girl on the screen with bouncy boobs always a + i think.

Hey so the Poetik SIM ive been working on for the last 3 months is now nearing completion i created the main structure but there are loads of other amazing people working on it too!
I think it really will be a place thats interesting and engaging so i hope you get a chance to visit.

We open officially at 8am SLT 14th March ..this Saturday ill be DJ'ing myself at 10am and there will be lots of great DJ's all the way into the next day i think it will run over 24 hours O.o!

Cyberfunk Hair

Well its been a while since i have been able to work on something new for AVZ but i managed to sneak in a bit of time and worked my virtual ass off to get this Hair out.
Its the longest hair style ive created to date with plenty of little detailed parts in a cyber style and ofcourse it has spikey/tech parts, a little bit of glow and full bright for good measure. There are 10 varying textures / colour types each with a slightly different colour detailing and customisation and ofcourse hair textures you can only find at AVZ. Im happy with this design and im glad to release it i hope its somone out theres new fav :)

Dragonaut Jetpack

Had the idea of creating a jetpack with some form of dragonlike appearance to it for a while finally got round to it today.
I actually realised also that i have no jetpack on sale for a while now ive created various in the past but dropped most of them when i moved store. The reason for not selling the others anymore is that i knew i could come up with something better and a bit less typical in design and i feel this Jetpack fulfills those criteria and am happy to be releasing it now! I hope you like it as much as i do :)

Wrapped Boots

I like my boots sexy, chunky, stompy, and preferably unisex so the first product from AVZ for 2009 is Wrapped Boots!
They are thigh high wrapped in leather but they work nicely as knee high too . Constructed with angled metal rods and tied with cables and kneepads for protection along with other little details. Industrial grunge cyberpunk style and they are now my favourite boots i hope they will be yours too enjoy!

Im pretty sure you can expect some other matching accessories to go with these soon for your arms maybe a belt or skirt too :)

Urbanix Skirt

Urbanix Skirt is a rebuild / retexture of the skirt that was part of the Harajuku Urbanix set which i have stopped selling. So many people have asked me about the skirt in particular and it is one of my fav items to wear that it seems right to re realease it as a skirt alone.
So i have retextured it all rebuilt and added many parts and i feel its even better than before enjoy!

Synthetique Hair

I have tried several times in the past to make some form of hair design that has a strongly synthetic plasticy possibly digital feel to it but no avail.
This design however im pleased with it has that look of fake hair you might find on gynoid lifeforms or servile robotic maids its also along the lines of a cosplay wig which i like.
I used mainly my own custom textures on this one also which helps add some interest and also enhance the synthetic feel i hope you like!

Biomeka Blasters

More DCS2 compatible weaponry goodies for you this time in the form of bio mechanical arms with blasters on each.
Again i made sure they were not too overpowered but still usefull to those who RP and i created some nice animations for them along with some great sound FX.

Functions on these include

1. Duo fire barrage (great for large or multiple group targets)
2. Reloads after 15 x 2 bullets (15 each side)
3. 5% damager per bullet on DCS HUD
4. Realistic sound and particle FX
5. Custom animations
6. Low lag scripts
7. Color change via chat command

They look really great even if you just want to have them as an accessory and not run around shooting people. I made 2 sizes for men and woman and they also come with a glove layer.

Widowmaker Rifle

Ive been wanting to create some weapons that will work for RP Sims specifically Toxia City and other DCS enabled areas so ive been developing and tweaking this gun along with some experienced RP members for a good few months to make sure its usefull but also within the rules and style of Toxia in particular.

Features include ~

1.Single click , single fire for accuracy
2.Reloads after 30 bullets
3.Each bullet does a maximum of 5% damage on the DCS HUD
4.Realistic Sound and Particle FX
5.Custom Animations
6.Low Lag Scripts
7.Worn on spine simply touch to equip and use

Most importantly ofcourse its cyberpunk style! and not simply a copy of any RL weaponry its more influenced by Anime than anything else.

Cellular Pants / Skirt

The whole reason i began a store is probably a similair story to many. I made things that i want and then other people asked me for them and this is basically what i am still doing today so right about now i fancied a new pair of Tech style pants with a nice skirt combo to go with them.

I dont quite want to look like a Sci Fi character but i do like technological elements and this is reflected in the design of the pants with the textures having circuitry and cellular kind of shapes as well as some more contemporary camo styled fabrics and a lil bit of grunge for good measure.
They have nice sculpted legwarmers, Kneepads and thigh gaurds that help shape the legs into nice sexy curves. The skirt is also a sculpted shape so it forms around the waste well.

I also included a 2nd skirt type seen above with a glowing cellular construct of octagon shapes. All the glowing light parts are colour changing with a simple chat command up to 100+ colours available so you can match them to your fav items and colours.

Digital eyes are a classic cyber goggle design with a twist. These goggles have animated blinking cyber eyes for that extra edge of realism! They are chunky sculpted and sealed with tiny prim bolts around the rims.

Tekuno Shinobi Hair

Well finally a new hairstyle for guys or girls !
Tekuno Shinobi meaning Techno Ninja!

Definately an anime inspired style and again showing the influence of Japanese culture on my work. The hair itself is 90% sculpted in tangled layers it has a rising sun motif on the front and at the side a small animated TV screen wrapped around the headband with an anime character kissing the screen.

Opening Party

Thanks so much to everyone that showed up i had a really great time and i hope you did too. It felt really good to be able to finally open and the fact so many people came to show thier support is really encouraging to me so again thanks!
It has to be said that people in my group in general look amazing so the event was made all the more interesting by the many creative avatars present!

New Mainstore finally complete

Well its been a long process but i have finally completed a new home for AVZ.
Its going to be hard for me to leave OnCom its been my base for nearly 2 years but i was beggining to feel hemmed in on all sides.
The new SIM Laymon is stand alone so it does ofcourse suffer a lot less lag and it also means that the presentation and design of my new SIM will not suffer the conflict stylistically with what is around me.(thats a nice way of saying surrounded by ugly builds btw)

The change does not stop only at the redesign of my store ive pretty much dumped more than half of my old line and will only be taking a few choice and favourite designs forward.
The reason for doing this is that all throughout my activities in SL ive been learning and developing and i hope to continue to do so. The style my work has reflected till now shows the many different influences of what im into but i think things had become a little too random and confused as far as what AVZ as a brand is meant to reprasent.
I feel now i have found my style and everything in my store will reflect this. It is also just good to get some space a clean canvas if you like.
All i need to do now is fill up my new store with lots of new items! but dont worry after a little break i have many new ideas to execute and i hope if you have been a loyal fan of AVZ up to this point that i will continue to make work you enjoy.

Id also like to highlight here the new system im using for my vendors as a fan of clean minimal design i always found it a pain to try squeeze text onto a poster that explains every last function or feature of a product! If you know AVZ then id hope you just expect the product to be great quality but it is ofcourse important to let people know what they are buying beforehand so they can make an informed choice.

So every vendor now has the above logo and when you want to find out more about the product your looking at simply click it and follow the blue drop down menu to this very blog. Id also love to get some of your favourite images of each product and your feedback and comments too.

You will also hopefully be aware by now of my opening event Friday Nov 7th starting 3pm SLT i hope to see you all there to help me celebrate the move!

Well thats all for now im still new to the whole blogging thing but im sure i wont find it too hard to talk about what i do and maybe some of you will even find it quite interesting!

Dark Garden Hair

Dark Garden is a piece that seems to have hit a chord with many.
For me its influences are wide and varied but if i had to sum it up in 2 words it would be demonic geisha. It ss the sort of style that a powerfull vampire queen would wear as she is about to f*%k then kill you muhaha.
Not sure i can say much more than this its just a damn sexy style that will make any gothic lady seem like royalty. It also features some of my own unique custom hair textures.

Cybercoilz

Cybercoilz is a style i worked many hours on to get each dreadlock interweaved perfectly with the others. Its my own number 1 favourite currently and is pretty much the best cyberlock or cyberdread style in SL in my opinion hopefully yours too!
It comes in some of my own custom and unique hair textures which ive been developing recently. In short it pretty much sums up what AVZ is about unique funky high quality innovative design. (and yes i will blow my own trumpet thanks)

Kumo Hair

Kumo means spider in Japanese and as you can see this style definately has an insectoid feel to it. Like some kind of alien creature that sits on your head its a big dramatic style with thick dreadlike parts and metallic pins and pipe parts clasped to its strands. It is available in some funky glow colour combos.

TRI Bal hair 2

If there is one style that could be my "flagship" hairstyle it would be TRI Bal2. My most popular design ever its actually an updated version of the very first hairstyle i made inspired by one of my customers retexturing / modification. It has become pretty much the standard headgear for many steampunk, neko, cyberpunk and anime fans massively popular with the Japanese fans of AVZ too.
The hair itself comes with high detailed smashed goggles a little transistor radio and badges on the headscarf. Three sprayed ponytails at the back make it a dynamic and dare i say SL classic design popular with all.

Parallel Hair

Parallel hair is somewhere between baroque french aristocracy and industrial cybergoth a combo i like very much.
The name comes from the parallel steel bars that are wrapped by the hair itself and work to make an interesting visual from all angles.
Contemporary yet classic this style has remained very popular and ive seen it on every kind of avatar from the grunge kid to the ballgown wearing couture fanatic.

Another tech cybergothic style from AVZ this hair has glowing and animated texture parts on each of its tightly wound rolls that work thier way across the top and down the back.
Four long carefully shaped tails tied with cyberpunk rings help balance the design for an overall neat and stylish hairstyle.

Cyber Phatpack

This one design believe it or not is what inspired me to take AVZ in a slightly new direction and refresh everything it was about.
It started out as a boot! which then morphed into the backpack you see. It has organic and tech elements a theme i hope to continue in more of my future work. It is already a personal favourite as id been searching for something to stick on my back for a while. I am glad to finally be releasing it for all to enjoy with the opening of my new mainstore that this very designed triggered the inspiration of.

Custom CPU

AVZ does include Science Fiction influences but what really excites me is the present and near future of technology. The Custom CPU backpack celebrates that one piece of technology many of us probably take for granted our very own computer.
For me Cyberpunk is about right now today and its the amazing wonders of the computer and the net that breathes life into it.
So i made this tricked out customised looking hackers delight of a CPU tower that features many GIF animated textures and plenty of other delightfull details i hope you enjoy.

Prosthetic Arms

Over the months and now years ive been in SL i was asked by many people to make robotic arm parts so here they are.
With the arrival of sculptys i was able to make a more prosthetic look which i have a kinda morbid fascination with in RL. The hand parts have a lot of details on them such as tension wires and tiny prims that reprasent touch sensors. These are definately a nice addition to any Roleplayers equip as they can tell a backstory of some terrible accident. 2 sizes are available for both men and woman or smaller and larger arms.

Bound Bracers

Im yet to find something else to wear around my arms to replace these i never take them off.
Wrapped and twisted fabric strapped down with leather and plenty of little details like beads and safety pins and torn mesh. I spent a long time making these appear random but the fact is they are built to fit and they just work with everything i wear another personal favourite.

Traction Boots

Traction Boots so named as they have kinda tank tread elements and a kinetic forward moving dynamic in the design.Partly tech and partly grunged style an aggresive design with militaristic undertones.
These are boots for those who like to do battle in the various cyberpunk themed RPG SIMs on the grid with one eye on kicking your opponents ass when it comes to style too muhaha.

Mekahooves

Part of my philosophy on style is that its possible to be a total freak but also be incredibly beautiful and aesthetically pleasing.
Mekahooves sum this up in the sense that they do have dark even slightly perverse undertones but are still very stylish. In short these just make people look sexy in a daemonic kinda way hmmmmm

Light Slippers

The name light slippers has a double significance here firstly they do have glowy lights on them ! but also they are literally light on prims.
A lot of my work has many prims and design features etc but here i just wanted to make a simple but stylish design that is more minimal.
They are actually one of my personal favourites to wear as i find they work very well with just about anything. Less is often more and that definately applies here.

Null Set

The Null set is an item i spent a lot of time getting the details just right. The cut of the jacket, the shape of the sculpted skirt and belt also the texturing in general has many hours of work in it. The result i hope is a high quality set that can be worn complete or in combination with your favourite items.

Included in the set:-

1. Jacket layer , shirt layer, undershirt layer with fur collar and sculpted fur cuffs.
2. Sculpted shaped skirt with flexi trim, sculpted belt and bag on high detail sculpted chain.
3. Striped Pants and underpants layer.

CYO1 ~ Mech Suit

Cy01 was originally designed with a female shape in mind but now also includes a version for men too. It is still probably my most extensive build to date and has many scripted features. I still consider it to be the best and most stylish of its type in SL.

Features include:-

1. Scripted helm with exclusive breathing sound FX and particles with on/off command
2. Laser beams from the eyes with on/off command
3. Jetpack with flight assist ,animated open and close wings, exclusive sound FX and jet particles.
4. 2 optional massively powerfull Laser blasters arm attatchments with exclusive animation and sound FX
5. Colour trim and detail options up to 100+ colours available.

This build was a team effort involving 2 of SL's top scripters Talia Tokugawa, Poidowl Poikolainen and sound design by Mantis Oh of Hybrid Productions so the suit is of the highest quality inside and out.

All this aside it just kicks ass :)
